Waukesha Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan

The final draft of the plan was released August 1, 2012 and the members of the steering committee received notice of it August 24.  There are interesting differences between it and the draft from December 1, 2011.

Ron Grall of the City of Waukesha Parks, Recreation, and Forestry Department, announced upcoming meetings on the plan in his 2012-08-24 email:

With completion of internal reviews  and coordination with the recently approved Central City/Downtown Master Plan, we are set to proceed with the formal approval process for the proposed Bike-Ped Plan (attached) and would like to take this opportunity  to inform you of the following up-coming  public meetings:

Board of Public Works (BPW) meeting
September 6 (7:00 pm)
AT: City Hall – Room 207

Parks, Recreation & Forestry Board (PRFB) meeting

Targeted Council adoption is 9/18.

The BPW meeting  emphasis will be on “on-road” items
